The external completion style is used with a ``programmable completion'' table that gathers completions from an external tool such as a shell utility, an inferior process, an HTTP server. The table and external tool are fully in control of the matching of the pattern string to the potential candidates of completion. CIELUV is a color space designed for perceptual uniformity based on human experiments. When accessed by polar coordinates, it becomes functionally similar to HSL with a single problem: its chroma component doesn't fit into a specific range. HSLuv extends CIELUV with a new saturation component that allows you to span all the available chroma as a neat percentage.

The Modus themes are designed for accessible readability. They conform with the highest standard for color contrast between any given combination of background and foreground values. This corresponds to the WCAG AAA standard, which specifies a minimum rate of distance in relative luminance of 7:1.
