libguestfs is a set of tools for accessing and modifying virtual machine (VM) disk images. You can use this for viewing and editing files inside guests, scripting changes to VMs, monitoring disk used/free statistics, creating guests, P2V, V2V, performing backups, cloning VMs, building VMs, formatting disks, resizing disks, and much more.

This package provides a guest OS definition for Ganeti that uses Guix to build virtual machines.

Bubblewrap is aimed at running applications in a sandbox, restricting their access to parts of the operating system or user data such as the home directory. Bubblewrap always creates a new mount namespace, and the user can specify exactly what parts of the file system should be made visible in the sandbox. These directories are mounted with the nodev option by default and can be made read-only.

libosinfo is a GObject based library API for managing information about operating systems, hypervisors and the (virtual) hardware devices they can support. It includes a database containing device metadata and provides APIs to match/identify optimal devices for deploying an operating system on a hypervisor. Via GObject Introspection, the API is available in all common programming languages. Vala bindings are also provided.

RVVM is a RISC-V CPU and system software implementation written in C. It supports the entire RV64GC ISA, and it passes compliance tests for both RV64 and RV32. OpenSBI, U-Boot, and custom firmwares boot and execute properly. It is capable of running Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Haiku, and other OSes. Furthermore, it emulates a variety of hardware and peripherals.

Libx86emu is a small library to emulate x86 instructions. The focus here is not a complete emulation but to cover enough for typical firmware blobs. You can

1. intercept any memory access or directly map real memory ranges

2. intercept any i/o access, map real i/o ports, or block any real i/o

3. intercept any interrupt

4. add a hook to run after each instruction

5. recognize a special x86 instruction that can trigger logging

6. use integrated logging

skopeo is a command line utility providing various operations with container images and container image registries. It can:

1. Copy container images between various containers image stores, converting them as necessary.

2. Convert a Docker schema 2 or schema 1 container image to an OCI image.

3. Inspect a repository on a container registry without needlessly pulling the image.

4. Sign and verify container images.

5. Delete container images from a remote container registry.

V is a systems programming language. It provides memory safety and thread safety guarantees with minimal abstraction.

Remmina is a client to use other desktops remotely. RDP, VNC, SPICE, NX, XDMCP, SSH and EXEC network protocols are supported.

This package provides LibVNCServer and LibVNCClient. These are cross-platform C libraries that allow you to easily implement VNC server or client functionality in your program.

NeatVNC is a lightweight VNC server library, supporting authentication, SSH tunneling, and ZRLE or Tight encoding.

This is a VNC server for wlroots-based Wayland compositors. It attaches to a running Wayland session, creates virtual input devices, and exposes a single display via the RFB protocol. The Wayland session may be a headless one, so it is also possible to run wayvnc without a physical display attached.

TurboVNC is a high-speed version of VNC derived from TightVNC, with which it remains compatible. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned to maximize performance for image-intensive applications (such as VirtualGL, video applications, and image editors) while still providing excellent performance for other types of applications. Some of its unique features are:

• a user-facing vncserver command;

• the ability to capture keyboard keys even when not in full screen mode;

• a full screen mode that is compatible with ratpoison*

*Although due to a quirk in Java, you'll want to set the _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING environment variable when using it with ratpoison.

x11vnc allows one to view and interact with real remote X displays (i.e. a display corresponding to a physical monitor, keyboard, and mouse) with any VNC viewer.

This package provides the user-space command-line tools for using and configuring WireGuard tunnels.

WireGuard is a simple and fast general-purpose VPN that securely encapsulates IP packets over UDP. It aims to be as easy to configure and deploy as SSH. VPN connections are made simply by exchanging public keys and can roam across IP addresses.

This package provides user-space command-line tools for configuring AmneziaWG tunnels, a fork of wireguard-tools with support for the AmneziaWG protocol. AmneziaWG extends WireGuard with protection against detection by DPI systems.

StrongSwan is an IPsec implementation originally based upon the FreeS/WAN project. It contains support for IKEv1, IKEv2, MOBIKE, IPv6, NAT-T and more.

This is a helper script to allow you to interactively login to a GlobalProtect VPN that uses SAML authentication, so that you can subsequently connect with OpenConnect.

This package is a core library used by other python-proton-vpn- packages.

xl2tpd is an implementation of the Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol (RFC 2661). L2TP allows you to tunnel PPP over UDP.

Bitmask, by LEAP, is an application to provide easy and secure encrypted communication with a VPN. It allows you to select from a variety of trusted service provider all from one app. Current providers include Riseup Networks and The Calyx Institute, where the former is default.

This package contains a rust crate for communicating with a Proton LocalAgent, server, and python-bindings for that crate.
