This module implements org.freedesktop.Notifications interface[fn:dbus-spec]. It shows notifications using stumpwm:message by default.

lemonbar (formerly known as bar) is a lightweight bar entirely based on XCB. Provides full UTF-8 support, basic formatting, RandR and Xinerama support and EWMH compliance without wasting your precious memory.This is a fork of the lemonbar package that adds fontconfig support, for easier unicode usage.

Waybar is a highly customisable Wayland bar for Sway and Wlroots based compositors.

gtklock is a lockscreen based on gtkgreet. It uses the ext-session-lock Wayland protocol. Works on sway and other wlroots-based compositors.

Xmonad is a tiling window manager for X. Windows are arranged automatically to tile the screen without gaps or overlap, maximising screen use. All features of the window manager are accessible from the keyboard: a mouse is strictly optional. Xmonad is written and extensible in Haskell. Custom layout algorithms, and other extensions, may be written by the user in config files. Layouts are applied dynamically, and different layouts may be used on each workspace. Xinerama is fully supported, allowing windows to be tiled on several screens.

wlrsetroot is a wayland wallpaper utility using wlr-layer-shell. It sets tiled XBM patterns or solid colors as your desktop background.

bspwm is a tiling window manager that represents windows as the leaves of a full binary tree.

i3lock-color is a simpler X11 screen locker derived from i3lock. Features include:

1. forking process, the locked screen is preserved when you suspend to RAM;

2. specify background color or image to be displayed in the lock screen;

3. many additional color options.

dwl is a compact, hackable compositor for Wayland based on wlroots. It is intended to fill the same space in the Wayland world that dwm does in X11, primarily in terms of philosophy, and secondarily in terms of functionality. Like dwm, dwl is easy to understand and hack on, due to a limited size and a few external dependencies. It is configurable via config.h.
