XWinInfo is used to print out information about windows on an X server. Various information is displayed depending on which options are selected.

EGL-Wayland is an implementation of a EGL External Platform library to add client-side Wayland support to EGL on top of EGLDevice and EGLStream families of extensions.

xf86-video-ast is an ASpeed Technologies video driver for the Xorg X server.

These bindings wrap libxcb (a C library to speak with X11, in many cases better than Xlib), and provides an object oriented interface to its methods (using Mouse).

libXau provides an authorization library for individual access to an X Window System display.

xlsfonts lists fonts available from an X server via the X11 core protocol.

xcur2png is a program decomposes an X cursor into a set of PNG images and a configuration file reusable by xcursorgen.

This package provides a common set of SGML entities and XML/CSS style sheets used in building/formatting the documentation provided in other Xorg packages. It's typically only needed by people building from source who want to produce formatted documentation from their builds, or those who have installed the HTML version of the documentation, which refers to the included common xorg.css stylesheet.

xf86-input-joystick is a joystick input driver for the Xorg X server. It is used to control the pointer with a joystick device.

Imake is a deprecated source code configuration and build system which has traditionally been supplied by and used to build the X Window System in X11R6 and previous releases. As of the X Window System X11R7 release, the X Window system has switched to using GNU autotools as the primary build system, and the Imake system is now deprecated, and should not be used by new software projects. Software developers are encouraged to migrate software to the GNU autotools system.

Xorg Cursor management library.

XAuth program is used to edit and display the authorization information used in connecting to the X server.

Xtrans is a library of code that is shared among various X packages to handle network protocol transport in a modular fashion, allowing a single place to add new transport types. It is used by the X server, libX11, libICE, the X font server, and related components.

Xwd is used to store window images in a specially formatted dump file. This file can then be read by various other X utilities for redisplay, printing, editing, formatting, archiving, image processing, etc. The target window is selected by clicking the pointer in the desired window. The keyboard bell is rung once at the beginning of the dump and twice when the dump is completed.

X11::Protocol::Other contains window manager related functions for use by client programs, as per the ICCCM (Inter-Client Communication Conventions Manual) and some of the EWMH (Extended Window Manager Hints).

Xorg Print Client library.

Luit is a filter that can be run between an arbitrary application and a UTF-8 terminal emulator such as xterm. It will convert application output from the locale's encoding into UTF-8, and convert terminal input from UTF-8 into the locale's encoding.

The xvfb-run wrapper simplifies running commands and scripts within a virtual X server environment. It sets up an X authority file or uses an existing user-specified one, writes a cookie to it, and then starts the Xvfb X server as a background process. It also takes care of killing the server and cleaning up before returning the exit status of the command.

This package provides a default set of cursor themes for the Xorg X server: handhelds, redglass and whiteglass.

xf86-input-synaptics is a touchpad driver for the Xorg X server.

The XCB util module provides a number of libraries which sit on top of libxcb, the core X protocol library, and some of the extension libraries. These experimental libraries provide convenience functions and interfaces which make the raw X protocol more usable. Some of the libraries also provide client-side code which is not strictly part of the X protocol but which has traditionally been provided by Xlib.

The XCB util module provides the following libraries:

- aux: Convenient access to connection setup and some core requests.

- atom: Standard core X atom constants and atom caching.

- event: Some utilities that have little to do with events any more.
