PipeWire is a project that aims to greatly improve handling of audio and video under Linux. It aims to support the usecases currently handled by both PulseAudio and Jack and at the same time provide same level of powerful handling of Video input and output. It also introduces a security model that makes interacting with audio and video devices from containerized applications easy, with supporting Flatpak applications being the primary goal. Alongside Wayland and Flatpak we expect PipeWire to provide a core building block for the future of Linux application development.

The Logfile Navigator is a log file viewer for the terminal. Given a set of files/directories, lnav will:

1. decompress as needed;

2. detect their format;

3. merge the files by time into a single view;

4. tail the files, follow renames, find new files in directories;

5. build an index of errors and warnings;

6. pretty-print JSON-lines.

Then, in the lnav TUI, you can:

1. jump quickly to the previous/next error (press e/E);

2. search using regular expressions (press /);

3. highlight text with a regular expression (:highlight command);

4. filter messages using regular expressions or SQLite expressions;

5. pretty-print structured text (press P);

6. view a histogram of messages over time (press i);

7. analyze messages using SQLite (press ;)

A semi-modular software synthesizer and fx plugin

Cardinal is a free and open-source virtual modular synthesizer plugin, available in AudioUnit/CLAP/LV2/VST2/VST3 plugin formats and as a standalone app for FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, Windows and the Web. It is based on the popular VCV Rack but with a focus on being a fully self-contained plugin version.

Aether is an algorithmic reverb LV2 plugin based on Cloudseed.

Drops is a single audio file sample player plugin in lv2 and vst format for linux. Load an audio file, play it, loop it, pitch shift it, and make it into something entirely new.

LV2 plugin for neural network machine learning amp model playback using the NeuralAudio engine

A chorus effect inspired by the one found in certain well-known Japanese vintage analog synthesizers (You Know which).

Automatic double tracking (not only) for vocals.

This plugin copies the input four times and pans the copies alternatively left and right by a set amount, delays each by up to 100 ms and also pitch-shifts each copy by up to 150 cents. The maximum pan, delay and pitch-shift spread can be independently controlled by parameters as well as the cutoff frequencies of a low- and high-pass filter applied to the stereo ouput.

This effect can be used to thicken up lead or background vocals or other signals that need more presence in the mix.

It can be used as either an insert effect or as a send effect in an auxilliary bus by providing separate dry and wet signal gain parameters.
