The XML Security Library is a C library based on Libxml2. It supports XML security standards such as XML Signature, XML Encryption, Canonical XML (part of Libxml2) and Exclusive Canonical XML (part of Libxml2).

This package provides methods to cache compiled XML translators.

Libxml2 is the XML C parser and toolkit developed for the Gnome project (but it is usable outside of the Gnome platform).

This module provides an XPath engine, that can be re-used by other module/classes that implement trees. It is designed to be compatible with Class::XPath, ie it passes its tests if you replace Class::XPath by Tree::XPathEngine.

The lxml XML toolkit is a Pythonic binding for the C libraries libxml2 and libxslt. This variant is pinned to be updated less often than python-lxml.

XLSX I/O aims to provide a C library for reading and writing .xlsx files. The .xlsx file format is the native format used by Microsoft(R) Excel(TM) since version 2007.

XML::Twig is an XML transformation module. Its strong points: can be used to process huge documents while still being in tree mode; not bound by DOM or SAX, so it is very perlish and offers a very comprehensive set of methods; simple to use; DWIMs as much as possible.

What it doesn't offer: full SAX support (it can export SAX, but only reads XML), full XPath support (unless you use XML::Twig::XPath), nor DOM support.

The proposal of this package is to provide XPath 1.0 and 2.0 selectors for Python's ElementTree XML data structures, both for the standard ElementTree library and for the lxml.etree library.

For lxml.etree this package can be useful for providing XPath 2.0 selectors, because lxml.etree already has its own implementation of XPath 1.0.

PyXB-X ("pixbix") is a pure Python package that generates Python source code for classes that correspond to data structures defined by XMLSchema.

The xmlschema library is an implementation of XML Schema for Python. It has full support for the XSD 1.0 and 1.1 standards, an XPath-based API for finding schema's elements and attributes; and can encode and decode XML data to JSON and other formats.

This package provides an XML Schema and its catalog. The schema constrains the syntax of xml:lang, xml:spec, xml:base, and xml:id in the schema language defined by the XML Schema Recommendation Second Edition of 28 October 2004.

Xmlto is a front-end to an XSL toolchain. It chooses an appropriate stylesheet for the conversion you want and applies it using an external XSL-T processor. It also performs any necessary post-processing.

xkbcomp keymap compiler converts a description of an XKB keymap into one of several output formats. The most common use for xkbcomp is to create a compiled keymap file (.xkm extension) which can be read directly by XKB- capable X servers or utilities.

X Keyboard (XKB) Extension essentially replaces the core protocol definition of keyboard. The extension makes possible to clearly and explicitly specify most aspects of keyboard behaviour on per-key basis and to more closely track the logical and physical state of the keyboard. It also includes a number of keyboard controls designed to make keyboards more accessible to people with physical impairments.

Imake is a deprecated source code configuration and build system which has traditionally been supplied by and used to build the X Window System in X11R6 and previous releases. As of the X Window System X11R7 release, the X Window system has switched to using GNU autotools as the primary build system, and the Imake system is now deprecated, and should not be used by new software projects. Software developers are encouraged to migrate software to the GNU autotools system.

xf86-input-mouse is a mouse input driver for the Xorg X server. This driver supports four classes of mice: serial, bus and PS/2 mice, and additional mouse types supported by specific operating systems, such as USB mice.
